The hFBP MAbs exhibit saturable, specific binding to hFBP only in the presence of hTf. The assay is sensitive to nanogram amounts of hTf and hFBP. It shows no cross-reaction with murine transferrin and human serum transferrin, and it is sensitive to variations in hFBP levels in normal serum. T-Mobile USA, the No. 3 mobile-phone company in the U.S. by subscribers, said it will roll out an in-flight Wi-Fi system on its flights by 2010.
"By the end of 2010, we will offer the service to our customers on more than 200 aircraft," said Ed Nicholson, T-Mobile's president for North America, in a statement.
T-Mobile said it is working with Gogo, a company that has provided Wi-Fi on some Boeing 777 airliners, to add the service to its fleet.
